We had a fun time visiting grandparents while daddy had a fishing weekend.
Kinley loves to see the cows. This time she got to ride on the tractor to feed the cows and she loved it!
Mimi and Kinley had fun playing in the tent...made of chairs and a sheet....the best kind of course.
Unfortunately Kinley ran a high fever for the first 3 days we were there then began breaking out with a rash all over her body. It steadily got worse on Sunday so we made a trip to the ER.
I am so fortunate to say that I've never been to the ER, but hear all the terrible stories of the long wait, etc. So I began praying for a good experience since it was close to 8pm when we headed to the hospital. Kinley was VERY cranky and now it was nearing her bed time which can get ugly when she is over tired. The Lord handled it all! We were home within an hour and Kinley got some relief without much poking and prodding from the medical staff.
The rash was an allergic reaction from the antibiotic she was on for a sinus infection. A few days of steroids and Miss K is back in action and her rash is almost gone. I think I am finally caught up, too, from Kinley's febrile sleepless nights. I can tell I am getting older because I can't bounce back quite as quick when I don't get much sleep.

Glad she's feeling better and I LOVE the last picture of her with the flowers!!! Precious baby girl!
I mean to call and check on Kinley but I figured no news is good news! I loved the photos! I can't believe she wasn't scared of the tractor! She's getting to be such a big girl. Please make her stop growing. The jonquil photos are GREAT!!
