Star Performer

I got some cute videos this week of Kinley. PLEASE forgive my baby talk voice and especially the singing! Yikes! But enjoy our sunshine :)
The first song she is singing is "Itsy Bitsy Spider"! Her favorite parts are "itsy bitsy spider" and "down came the rain" so that's all she sings :)
Kinley's friend Chayce was hanging out with us last week so you can hear him singing along in the background.

We are so proud of our cousin Melissa for making alternate for the Razorback Cheer Team! We are really looking forward to watching her call those Hogs this fall! The Hog Call has become one of Kinley's favorite things these days. I finally got her on video doing it!

I was really hoping she would cooperate with me on Saturday when she was decked out in her new Razorback dress and call the Hogs while we went to the spring Red and White game, but that was wishful thinking. I guess the pj's and bed head will do just fine when you're as cute as Kinley Clare!

Check out Jenna's blog if you don't know what the "Hog Call" is :)

We Love Spring!

The weather in NWA has been perfect for the last week or so and we are really enjoying playing outside. I'm certain Kinley asks to go outside at least 10 times per hour. She loves it and I am so glad!

We've been busy with our new swimming class, playgroups, having fun outside and visits from friends and family. Last week Mammy came to stay with us. She and Kinley had so much fun together!

Kinley turned 17 months this week. Her personality is really coming out more and more. I'm pretty sure she's going to be funny like her daddy.

Speaking of Kinley's Daddy, we celebrated the last year of his 20's yesterday. Happy B-day Da-Da!

We got some sidewalk chalk this week. I'm remembering how unartistic I am as I attempt to draw things that Kinley can recognize. Really hope she doesn't take after me in creativity!

Kinley's "wo-wos" or pillows are very important to her. My aunt Patti made us a few back ups just incase. Kinley has already found the stash in her closet.  Just before I snapped the picture she had the biggest smile on her face. Of course I missed it, but I still wanted to record her with her wo-wos!

Easter Follow up

We had such a fun and blessed Easter. We woke up to find a treat from the easter bunny.

Kisses for the bunny
After church we had lunch with the Stamps and Ormon families. We are so lucky to have wonderful friends from church. Kelly planned an easter egg hunt for the girls. Fun for all!

Daddy hosted egg dying festivities after nap time.  Kinley liked it and was much more interested than I thought she would be. (Please forgive their attire! K was in pjs a little early. Yes they are Christmas but she loves them because they are Dora. and Zach....well, I don't guess I'll ever understand why he loves this shirt...but he does and I've accepted it!)

Here's their masterpieces!

And for grandparents this post wouldn't be right with out a small photo album of K on Easter Sunday.

Another First

Kinley's first easter egg hunt!
My friend Tracy bravely hosted the whole gang for playgroup. It was fun, as always!!
Here's Tracy and her youngest daughter Lena Kate
Look at all the yummy food!
After lunch was the egg hunt
Amber, Drew and Alex
Amanda and Neely
Jenna and Braden
Kinley finally gets an egg in her basket.
She mostly would pick them up, show it to me and say egg then set them back on the ground
There are probably 5 pictures of Kinley and me her whole life and I'm pretty certain she is doing this in most every one.
This is Kinley one second after I put her down from the picture above...happy as a lark!
Here are a few pics I took this morning. Kinley got the most darling boots from her aunt and cousins. They aren't good for easter egg hunting but I had to try them on with her dress. Just too stinkin' cute!
(I think she's doing the Bubba squint in this one!)
Still a little puffy eyed from nap time

I got the dresses above and below from my friend Stephanie at If You Say Sew. She has lots of great momogrammed and personalized things for very reasonable. Go check her out! Lots of great gift ideas too...and she'll even ship them for you!!
