Kinley is 16 months! And she's getting some curls!
Kinley's been sick off and on over the past 6 weeks. We've had to miss several playdates and other outtings to rest up and recooperate. I'm hoping this round of antibiotics will have her on the mend.
She is such a little joy! Loves her books and puzzles. She is really staring to get into her riding toys. The past few days the weather has been a little warmer so we've been taking rides in her "tar" or car. Our neighborhood has a playground across from our house and she LOVES to swing. I have a perma-grin on my face to see her smile and hear her giggle when we push her on the swing. I know we'll have lots of fun there this spring and summer.
The seperation anxiety that I mentioned last month has worsened! She cries EVERY time I drop her off at mothers day out and nursery at church. Last week she even got asked to leave because she cried the whole time during Wednesday night church. I pray this ends SOON, very soon!
The same night at church, after I releived those poor nursery workers, she also had her first big fall and head bang by falling off of a table. (don't ask why she was on the table) Only by God's grace was she not hurt. Oh my goodness! I'm certain my heart was hurting as bad as her head. But we all survived and she is perfectly fine! And I'm up to speed now on what to do with closed head injuries :)
She says new words everyday. This morning she was watching Dora and she counted to five in Spanish!! She's getting close to being smarter than her Momma! We are really working on please and thank you, but it's been a slow process. She says thank you anytime she gives you something. Hopefully she'll catch on soon that it's the other way around!
Mimi will be proud to know that we do have our potty chair out and she does sit on it (fully clothed), but she's far from ready for potty training. When she gets ready to sit on her potty, she backs up to it, then puts her hands on the floor to brace herself then she looks to see if she's lined up right then sits down. It is histerical!
Kinley you are such a joy and we love so much! Happy 16 months!

She looks so cool in her glasses and convertable! So she can count 1-5 in spanish and 6-10 in english, I think that qualifies as being able to count to 10! I can't wait to see you guys!!
She is such a smart little girl, already speaking Spanish!! I think I cry as much as Caleb does when he gets hurt, it's just awful isn't it. I'm so glad she's ok. Happy 16 months Kinley!
Precious girl!
Harper has been having separation anxiety too. She cries when I leave her but within about 3 minutes she's fine. I just try to run away quick! ha!
Kinley is so smart and pretty!
Sooo cute!! Counting to five in Spanish, WOW!! Hope Kinley starts feeling 100% soon!
She is a joy to her Mimi and Mony too!!
