We had the official b-day party on Saturday. It was held in south AR so the deer hunters in our family (DaDa and Pop) would be in attendance! There were about 30 of us and it was a fun time. Thank you all for coming and for your generosity to Kinley on her 1st birthday!!

Zach and I agreed it has been the best year of our lives!
Miss K had her 12 month check up yesterday so we have official stats!
She weighed 21lbs 1.5oz which is in the 50th percentile
She was 30.5" which is in the 90th percentile
She got 4 shots (including H1N1) yesterday. Poor girl cried harder than she ever has before (and she DOES know how to cry)...it hurts a momma to see that! Are you with me?
The dr told me to get her off the night-night bottle. I am dreading this and have been putting it off since she doesn't take a binky. Hopefully it wont be too bad. Wish me luck!
P.S. Anyone know why my pictures are so pixel-y? They don't look like this when I view them on my computer

Oh, how much fun! Ella just got off her night-night bottle and good-morning bottle a few months ago...she is 21 months!
She is a doll! I've commented before, and told you that my daughters name is Kynlie. Such a pretty name!
I can't help you on the bottle issue, for some GREAT reason, she weaned her self off of it before bed time. We got busy one night and just laid her down with out having one first and she went right to sleep and has ever since, but we still use the paci. That might be a problem.

Hey Erin! It has been forever! I stumbled upon your blog when looking at another blog. We had babies about a week apart! Kinley is precious and I so understand the sick feeling thinking that your baby will be a year old! Drew's bday is tomorrow and I just keep thinking, this can't be happening!

hey girl, p didn't take a bink either so when it was time to get him off the bottle, we started a whole new routine. now he has always had a little blankie (which we are working on that going away) so we would brush his teeth, give him the blankie, and read a book, then tell him nite-nite and put him down. i really dont remember him crying much for the bottle, i think if you distranct them w/ something else, then hopefully she'll forget about the bottle. :) see ya soon!
