Oh How I Love Spring!

Happy Spring! Every year when the jonquils begin to bloom I seem to have a little boost in energy because I know warm weather is around the corner. I do love all seasons, but I am ready for the cold to go away. You certainly wouldn't know that today is the first day of Spring because it is 38 degrees outside, but the calendar says it's Spring and I am going with it!

Here's my princess also ready for Spring! This will be her Easter dress and we had to make sure it was going to fit. How adorable is that! Of course we will have the appropriate head and foot gear for Easter Sunday, but I had to snag a pic of this!

4 Month Update...Kinley weighed 14.88lbs (90th percentile) and was in the 95th percentile on height. Healthy girl!

Thanks to everyone who posted to the "When to start cereal poll". That was so fun. Here were the results...
earlier than 3 months -- 11 (16%)
3 months -- 10 (14%)
4 months -- 18 (26%)
5 months -- 9 (13%)
6 months -- 20 (29%)

Our doctor suggested yesterday that we go ahead a start some cereal. He said K was ready, so you can be looking for some pics with cereal smeared from ear to ear coming soon! Fun!

Back to the subject of Spring. I mentioned the jonquils blooming. That's what us folks from Southern Arkansas call this flower.

What do you call it? Daffolil? Buttercup? So who is right? Anyone knowledgeable in flowers? I'd be happy to be educated in which is correct.
Happy Friday and Happy Spring!

I say Jonquil! I said something to Scott today about you being from South AR and he wanted to argue that Nashville wasn't South AR. He's crazy - but he thinks only Magnolia and El Dorado qualify. Crazy boy.
Kinley is so cute. I got Harper an easter dress and she can't even wear it anywhere. But she still had to have one. I love Kinley's dress. I'm glad she is a big girl too.
I had thought I would wait until 6 months for food but Harper eats so much I think we may need to jump in at 4 months too. Poor thing is always starving.

It's a jonquil! You know that you and I probably had our faces painted together at the "Jonquil" festival in Old Washington at some point!

On Jamison Road, we call them buttercups. But you know we kind of do things our way over there! I am going to drop off your gift at your parent's house this weekend. I keep forgetting to bring it with me. Hope all is well!
