Digital Scrapbooking

I have something to admit.... I thought when I became a SAHM that I would become supermom and wife. I would have the house immaculate, clean and freshly pressed clothes, amazing gourmet dinners each night, you get the picture. Well it is a far from that at the Freeze house. I am doing good if we have any groceries in the pantry and clean clothes on our bodies

I also thought that I would spend a few hours each week, or day even, while K is napping to keep a great scrapbook of her life. I've purchased an awesome scrapbook, great paper and beautiful embellishments...haven't even touched them since I brought them home.
All this said, I've heard lots of great things about digital scrapbooking and I want to learn more about it. If you can give me some info, websites to visit, tell me how you started, if it is as easy as I have been told, I would love to hear from you. And thanks in advance for enlightening me!

I can't post without a pic of the Princess in her new charriot (SW Arkansas version)

Crawling: Mastered & The Zoo

Ok, you were right...everyone who told me not to rush crawling was not kidding! This girl is everywhere! She's been doing a modified version of crawling for several weeks, but this past week she's turned pro. Here's just a peek of our world these days...
She is already pulling up on everything. I hope walking doesn't come quit so quickly!
It was nice weather on Saturday, so we decided to get adventurous! Here we are at the Tulsa Zoo. It was such a great time.

This monkey was checking Kinley out.

She was mesmerized by the big fish
The zoo had this really neat indoor rainforest where animals were free to roam around without a cage. There were moneys, flamingos, bats, and several other animals which included this bird. Zach was snapping pictures of lots of animals that were so close to us. This was the first picture he took as we entered. Little did Zach know this bird would attack him before we could get out of there! It was histerical! I wish I had the "attack" on video!

There was a little petting zoo that had goats and sheep. Kinley got to pet a sheep for the first time!

Here she is just before she pulled his hair too hard and he tried to bite her! So we quickly left the petting zoo!

This was my favorite thing all day! A sealion getting his suntan on!

Where to begin...

I have fallen off the blogger wagon the past few days and I have so much to say, but I'll attempt to be brief!

Friday night we had the lowering of the bed project. Miss Kinley is growing so quickly (tear) and is now able to pull up in her bed, so Daddy had to lower it.

Saturday K and I ventured out to the local farmer's market and had such a great time. Here's K just before she fell asleep. We got all of this produce and quite possibly the best salsa I've ever tasted...and I am a salsa connoiseur! Truly we enjoyed our Saturday.

BIG NEWS! K turned 8 months old (tear, again)

She is SO much fun! Almost crawling. Lots of babbling, da-da, ma-ma, ba-ba, ta-ta

She loves to clap, laughs a lot, loves the water and is just so pleasant! This picture was after church on Sunday.

I Love to Swing!

And I love teething biscuits .....

I bought some rice cake type of teething biscuits expecting her to just knaw on them. Nope, she takes bites of them like you would a cracker. It is so funny!

Mimi surprised us on Sunday night and came to visit. Here we are at the park

I also have to share this precious, adorable pic. Mimi put K down for a nap today. K was playing and talking to herself in the crib. A few moments later this is how she found her

Isn't it nice to be this relaxed?!!

That's where I headed so I can prepare for my 4 year olds at VBS tomorrow!

Lake Fun Part 2

Here's more of our fun, fabulous fourth!

Zach and Kinley having fun in the water, even though you can't tell by her face in the pic, she really liked it. I was totally surprised that this drama queen tolerated the life jacket so well!

Aunt La La, and K

Mammy, Nash and Kinley on the boat
(for the record we were still docked in this picture. we wouldn't break the law and ride without a life jacket on these babies)

Happy 4th!

We celebrated the 4th of July in Hot Springs again this year. Last year I was 20 weeks pregnant with Kinley and I didn't know she was going to be a girl yet. What a difference a year makes!
Here's Kinley and Uncle Same in their festive attire.

Kinley made her lake debut and she LOVED it. She was born a lake girl and I am so glad because I really love it too! More on our weekend late to come.
